My Story
A lover of buffalo wings, a cold drink, and a good book, I was born in Milwaukee, WI and grew up in the suburbs of Nashville, TN. While growing up, my dream job was to be a music journalist, interviewing my favorite artists and spending all my time at live shows. When I started college at the University of Tennessee, I got to live this dream as an arts and culture reporter for the Daily Beacon, the university's independent student newspaper.
After college, I found myself wanting to work to improve the lives of those around me, and after a couple years of freelance work in this realm, I was able to secure work fighting for LGBTQIA+ liberation. As I welcome new projects and opportunities, my interest is in keeping with this trajectory and helping moving the needle forward for equity in our communities.
Currently web manager for Lambda Legal. Formerly production coordinator and digital content manager for The Means of Production, copywriter and content producer for Earth Fare, content intern at Livability.com, editorial intern at My Beauty Bunny, special projects editor, editor-in-chief, arts and culture editor for the Daily Beacon and editorial intern at Nashville Lifestyles.
In my professional experience, I have worked in content management, social media marketing and scheduling, copywriting, brand marketing, social media influencer management, SEO, reporting and interviewing, photography and videography.
